This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our application ("the App"). By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Sign-Up Flow Overview:

When you register for an account in the App, we collect the following information:

1.

Email: We require a valid email address format for registration. This email is unique and cannot be registered with an existing account. If you attempt to register with an email that is already in our system, you will receive an error message stating, "This email has been taken."

2.

Name: Your name must be between 2 and 80 characters in length. If it doesn't meet this requirement, you will receive an error message:

Minimum Characters Error: "Name must be at least 2 characters long."

Maximum Characters Error: "Name cannot exceed 80 characters in length."

3.

Password: Your password must be between 8 and 32 characters in length. If it doesn't meet this requirement, you will receive an error message:

Minimum Characters Error: "Password must be at least 8 characters long."

Maximum Characters Error: "Password cannot exceed 32 characters in length."

4.

Password Visibility: We provide an eye icon next to the password input field, allowing you to toggle the visibility of the entered password.

If you leave a mandatory field blank, you will receive an error message stating, "This field is required."

By clicking the "Register" button, you complete the sign-up process. You will receive a confirmation email, and a pop-up window will appear with the title "Registration Confirmation." The content will state, "We have sent a confirmation of successful registration to your email," and an "OK" button to close the popup.

Registration via Social Network:

You can also register using your Google or Apple accounts (only for iOS users). Here's how it works:

1.

Click on the desired social network button (Google or Apple) to initiate the registration process.

2.

You will be redirected to the respective Google or Apple login page.

3.

If you are already logged in to your Google or Apple account on your device, you may see a consent prompt asking if you want to share your information with the App.

4.

After providing consent (if required), we retrieve necessary account information from your Google or Apple account, such as name and email.

5.

After registration, you will receive a confirmation email, and a pop-up window will appear with the title "Registration Confirmation." The content will state, "We have sent a confirmation of successful registration to your email," and an "OK" button to close the popup.

Manual Login:

For manual login, follow these steps:

1.

Enter a valid email address and password.

2.

If you enter an incorrect email format, you will receive an "Invalid email" error message.

3.

If your password doesn't meet the length requirements, you will receive appropriate error messages.

4.

You can view your entered password by clicking on the eye icon next to the password field.

5.

If you miss any required fields, you will receive the error message "This field is required."

6.

In case of an incorrect email or password, you will receive the error message "Incorrect email or password" in a popup or notification.

Forgot Password Option:

You can reset your password if you have forgotten it. Here's how:

1.

Click on the "Forgot password" option on the login page.

2.

Enter the email address associated with your account.

3.

If the entered email is not associated with any account, you will receive an "Incorrect email" error message in a popup.

4.

If the email is valid and associated with an account, we will send a password reset link to your email.

Password Reset:

After receiving the password reset email, follow these steps:

1.

Click on the unique, secure link provided in the email.

2.

You will be redirected to a secure page to reset your password.

3.

Enter your new password and confirm it.

4.

Passwords must be between 8 and 32 characters in lengt

5.

If your new password doesn't meet the length requirements, you will receive appropriate error messages.

6.

After successfully resetting your password, you will receive a confirmation message with the title "Password changed!".

Navigation to Record Page:

When you click on the "Record" button on the bottom bar, you will be redirected to the "Record" page. Here, you can track your movements and ecological impact.

Geolocation and Movement:

The App requests access to your geolocation. You can choose to allow access "Always," "Only while using the app," or "Don't Allow."

If you grant access, a marker indicating your location appears on the map.

Field "From" and "To":

You can set your starting and ending points for your movements. You can enter addresses manually or select them on the map.

Route Visualization and Movement Method:

Once you select your starting and ending points, the map displays your route. You can choose your preferred movement method, including Walking, Cycling, Scooting, and E-Scooting. The App calculates rewards based on your choice and ecological impact.

Rewards Display:

After selecting your movement method, you can see your potential rewards, including the number of Ecocoins earned, CO2 saved, and distance covered. The calculation formula is provided in the policy.

Starting the Movement:

Clicking "Start" begins your movement, and you can track your progress on the map.

If you need to save your progress, click "Stop" or "Back," and a popup will ask if you want to save the data.

Upon reaching your movement goal, you can view detailed statistics and share your achievements on social media.

Speed Limits and Actions:

Speed limits apply based on your chosen movement method. If you exceed the speed limit, you will receive a notification.

Global Goal:

The App prominently displays the global goal of tracking and reducing CO2 emissions on the home page.

Global Tab:

The home page includes a "Global" tab where you can see movements of all App users. You can view details about these movements, including user profiles, movement types, dates, times, and locations.

Liking and Sharing Movements:

You can like and share movements on the home page. Clicking the "Thumb Up" icon shows your appreciation for a movement. You can also share movements on various social media platforms.

Profile Page:

Your profile page contains your personal information, follower/following counts, and tabs for different profile sections. You can edit your profile, including your name and profile photo.
